Previously major programs of Ramjanaki Campus were B.Sc. Ag (8 semester’s program) and B.V. Sc. and A.H. (10 semester’s program) after I.Sc. Ag, I.Sc. and 10+2 (Science). After establishment of Agriculture and Forestry University, admission of students for both programs were halted and B.V.Sc. and A.H. program was shifted to Paklihawa Campus, Paklihawa, Rupandehi (Constituent Campus of T.U. under IAAS). Besides halting of programs, all physical structures and human resources were shifted to AFU with without any amalgamation procedure. Act of government for Agriculture and Forestry University was made basis for amalgamation and some teachers and staffs remained in T.U. thus there became parallel existence of T.U. and A.F.U. which create tense situation in Rampur area. After 5 years, government establish a monitoring body in chair of Dr. Geeta Bhakta Joshi (former member of National Planning Commission) which reported necessity of existence of program of T.U. in both Chitwan and Hetauda. This report was basis for decision of government for establishing of Ramjanaki Campus in eastern Chitwan and Executive Council of Tribhuvan University through its regular meeting declared Kankali Community Forest Area for Ramjanaki Campus which lies in Khairahani-04, Chitwan. Accordingly, IAAS call for admission for new batch and Khairahani Municipality provided some physical structure and monetary support for recent academic program. Further development of this agriculture institute requires land, physical structure, human resources, and budget. Since, Kankali Community Forest is government owned land (Ministry of Forest and Environment Science), this land should be handover to Tribhuvan University for educational development.
